Who are you and what do you offer?
The Maitland Conservatory is a fine arts conservatory that provides training in both the traditional and non-traditional arts that prepares students to use their inner talents in a contemporary society. What makes us different is in addition to providing artistic training we also provide outlets and resources for our students to use their talents and skills within our school and community.

What are the non-traditional Arts?
Music Production – learning how to produce, mix and master music for all genres
Music for Television and Gaming – how to compose music and sound for film, television and video games
Video Editing – learning how to professionally edit videos
Maitland Kidz - Music and movement classes for babies, toddlers and children ages up to seven
What are some of your traditional programs?
Piano (traditional and ear-training)
Strings (violin, viola, cello)
Brass (saxophone and trumpet)
How much does it cost?
Non-Refundable Registration Fee:
$25 - due at time of registration
Traditional Arts - $90 per month (Duration once a week for a 30 minute private lesson)
Non-Traditional Arts - $85 per month (Duration: once a week for a 1 hour class)
Music Theory - $70 (Duration: once a week for 1 hour class)
Maitland Kidz - $70 (Duration: once a week for 45mins to 1 hour class)
Group Instrumental - $80 (Duration: once a week for 1 hour class)
Dance - $45 (Duration: once a week for 1 hour class / 1st Hour; $5 increase for each 30 minute increase)
*Tuition is due on the 1st of the month.
$15 is assessed after the 5th of each month.
Multi-student discount – $20 off the second child/family member.
Multi-class discount – $10 off the first class, $5 off each additional payment.

Maitland Conservatory welcomes resumes and letters of interest from qualified teachers seeking employment in the core program of afternoon, evening and Saturday instruction or in various daytime programs that the School offers.
In general, we employ fully credentialed and experienced specialist teachers. We give preference to candidates willing to work at multiple locations and interested in making a significant commitment of time to their teaching in order to bring the inner talents of our students to fruition.
Successful candidates will have a minimum of a bachelor degree in applied music or music education from an accredited institution or atleast 5 years of experience. The ability to read and teach music is a must for all instrumental lesson applicants. College interns and high school students in need of community service hours are welcome to apply.
