The Maitland Conservatory and Maitland Arts Initiative are the first to implement the concept of Arts Technology Clubs into Huntsville and Madison County area schools and organizations. Our "Arts Tech Clubs" introduce students to the world of Arts Technology by exposing them to careers such as digital music production, animation, podcasting, PSA development and even film making. Arts Integration
Imagine learning about Science, English, Social Studies or Math through the Arts, specifically Arts Technology. What if you learned about various elements on the periodic table or your favorite poet through writing, producing and recording a song about it. This is what we do with Arts Integration. To date Maitland has worked with over 500 students from 4th grade to 8th grade students. Schools that we have worked with include Athens Renaissance Academy, McNair Junior High, Sonnie Hereford Elementary, Endeavor Elementary, and Madison County Elementary Schools.
